NCI Building Systems Announces 297% Gain In Q2 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems (NCS) reported a profit for its second quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $11.47 million, or $0.16 per share. This was higher than $2.89 million, or $0.04 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.12 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 13.0% to $420.46 million. This was up from $372.25 million last year.
