NAHREP Signs Two-Year Partnership With Radian Group - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals or NAHREP said Wednesday that it has entered into a two-year partnership with Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group Inc. (RDN).

The partnership, which could be extended beyond 2015 by mutual agreement, will provide training on private mortgage insurance solutions to the association's 20,000 members.

As per the agreement, Radian will develop a nationwide training program that educates NAHREP member agents and lenders about private mortgage insurance through on-demand training, face-to-face sessions, video and interactive webinars so they can, in turn, better inform Hispanic consumers.

The partnership comes at a time when the market is entering an era where Latinos are emerging as a consumer force. According to the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, Latinos are expected to constitute 40 percent of the 17 million new households formed from 2010 to 2025.
