Mosaic Reaches Deal To Purchase 8.2 Mln Additional Class A Shares

(RTTNews) - Mosaic Co. (MOS) said Friday that it has entered into share repurchase agreements with certain Cargill family trusts to purchase about 8.2 million shares of Class A stock.

The repurchases are included under the $1 billion share repurchase authorization announced February 11.

The deals are structured in two tranches. The first purchase, about 2.4 million shares, was completed today, February 14 at a price of $46.43 per share. The second purchase, of about 5.8 million shares is scheduled for March 17, with a per share price based on a formula tied to the volume weighted average price of Mosaic's common stock during a 20-day trading period beginning February 14.
