More than 300 Attend 2011 Teradyne Users Group Conference

More than 300 Teradyne (NYSE:TER) users attended the 28th annual Teradyne Users Group (TUG) Conference at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, CA on May 2-4.

"TUG 2011 was great,” said Tom Munns, Semiconductor Test consultant, Texas A&M University and TUG chairman. "Attendance was up over 40 percent, which really shows the healthy recovery of the industry. Teradyne shared a very wide portfolio of new products and accessories to current product lines and we're all looking forward to next year's conference in Hilton Head."

The TUG Steering Committee is also pleased to announce the winners of the Best Paper Awards. The winners listed below were selected by peer evaluation on overall presentation and content.

Defense and Aerospace Track: "VDATS Hardware and Software Architecture" presented by Sam Sheppard, United States Air Force.

Digital Track: "DDR Controller Testing Using Protocol Aware ATE" presented by James Paik, Teradyne and Shawn Molavi, Broadcom.

Mixed Signal Track: "Introduction to UltraPAC80" presented by Scott Therrien, Teradyne.

Power Management/Automotive Track: "Implementation of Quad-site PMIC Device Tested on the UltraFLEX® with Limited AC Source and Capture Capability for Full Parallel Testing” presented by Yuchou Huang, Michael Chong, and Steve Lyons, Teradyne.

RF Wireless Track: "How to Use the ESA Toolkit for Modulation and Demodulation Testing" presented by Steven Fields, Teradyne.

Test Infrastructure and Production Session Track: "Why Wait? - Detrend” presented by Manishkumar Patel, Qualcomm and Lawrence Luce, Teradyne.
