Mohawk Industries Q2 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Mohawk Industries Inc. (MHK) Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $85 million or $1.16 per share, up from $73 million or $1.06 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $134 million or $1.84 per share. On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.66 per share for the quarter.

Revenues increased to $2.0 billion from $1.5 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $1.96 billion.

Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company has forecast earnings in the range of $1.81 to $1.91 per share. Analysts currently expect third-quarter earnings of $1.68 per share.
