Michael J. Long of Arrow Electronics Named Among Top Influential Executives in the IT Industry by Everything Channel’s CRN

Michael J. Long, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), has been named a "maverick” of the information technology channel in the Top 100 Most Influential Executives of the Industry, a listing produced by Everything Channel’s CRN.

Selected by the editors of CRN, the annual listing recognizes "the executives who have changed the way the IT channel does business by engineering blockbuster acquisitions, developing breakthrough technology initiatives and spearheading aggressive channel sales expansions to significantly alter the balance of power in the technology business,” according to Everything Channel.

Mr. Long was named one of the Top 25 Channel Mavericks, a listing of executives Everything Channel describes as demonstrating "brash and bold thinking [that] is changing the rules of the channel.”
