MGM Resorts International Earnings Climb 706% In Q3

(RTTNews) - MGM Resorts International (MGM) announced a profit for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $535.62 million, or $0.93 per share. This was up from $66.43 million, or $0.12 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.11 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 10.5% to $2.52 billion. This was up from $2.28 billion last year.
