Medtronic plc Q2 Earnings Rise 46%

(RTTNews) - Medtronic plc (MDT) released a profit for its second quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $1.47 billion, or $1.03 per share. This was up from $1.01 billion, or $1.02 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 61.6% to $7.06 billion. This was up from $4.37 billion last year.
