Mediacom Communications Appoints Edward S. Pardini Senior Vice President, North Central Division

MEDIACOM COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION (Nasdaq: MCCC)announced the appointment of Edward S. Pardini as Senior VicePresident, North Central Division. He replaces Charles King, who isretiring after 35 years in the cable industry. With its main officesin Des Moines, IA, the North Central Division encompasses all ofMediacom's operations in Iowa, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, SouthDakota and Wisconsin.

In making the announcement, Mediacom's Chairman and CEO, RoccoCommisso said, "We are pleased to have Ed Pardini assume thisimportant position at a critical time for our business. Ed has aproven track record of strong leadership with exceptional businessskills and extensive field operations experience in the cableindustry. At the same time, we appreciate the invaluable contributionsCharlie King has made to our organization and we wish him well."

For more than 15 years, Mr. Pardini served in several fieldmanagement positions with Comcast Corporation rising to the level ofSenior Regional Vice President with responsibility for more than 1.5million customers in Central Pennsylvania, Philadelphia andWilmington, Delaware. During that time, he successfully led thedevelopment of a number of new product initiatives, includingComcast's initial national launch of Video-on-Demand in Philadelphia,as well as testing and developing Comcast's new digital phone service.

An industry veteran of more than 23 years, Pardini entered thecable business in 1983 as a regional manager for Viacom Cable inHauppauge, NY, and worked for Greater Media Cable in Philadelphiabefore joining Comcast in 1989 in Burlington County, NJ. During thisperiod, Pardini designed and directed successful government andcommunity relations programs to establish positive relationships withpolitical and community leaders.
