A prized delicacy, Wild Alaska King Crab is a favorite of seafood connoisseurs. Making this an even more exciting offering is the fact that the Alaska King Crab being served is sourced from the boat Early Dawn – as seen on Discovery Channel’s "Deadliest Catch” – a popular TV program featuring the fisherman who work the often dramatic and risk-filled king crabbing season in Alaska.

Known for its twice daily changing menu that features an impressive variety of fresh seafood, Alaska King Crab brings additional excitement to McCormick & Schmick’s menus. Prized for its delicate flavor and tender texture, Wild Alaska King Crab is also recognized as a highly sustainable species due to strict fishing guidelines and practices. King Crab fishing in Alaska takes place during the fall and winter months in the waters off the coast of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. The commercial harvest is performed during a very short season and the catch is shipped world wide. The average Alaska King Crab ranges from six to 10 pounds and can grow up to 15 pounds in size.
