Maximus Now Sees FY EPS In The Range Of $2.40 And $2.70 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Maximus (MMS), a provider of government services worldwide, Thursday said it now expects GAAP earnings per share for fiscal 2016 to range between $2.40 and $2.70. The lowered earnings outlook is attributable to a slower ramp and hence a reduced contribution from the U.K. Health Assessment Advisory Service contract.

In August, the company expected GAAP earnings per share of $2.85 to $3.05 for fiscal 2016.

The company still expects revenue to range between $2.4 billion and $2.5 billion for the year.

Analysts look for earnings of $2.95 per share on revenues of $2.47 billion.

Fourth-quarter attributable net income slipped to $35.44 million from last year's $36.24 million. Earnings per share were flat with last year at $0.53.

On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.52 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue climbed 33 percent to $578.7 million from last year's $435.41 million, driven by organic growth and the acquisitions of Acentia and Remploy. Analysts expected revenues of $591.02 million.
