Change of Governance

The Board of Directors of Maurel & Prom, having met today, noted that its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jean-François Hénin, had reached the upper age limit specified in the Articles of Association for the functions of Chief Executive Officer.

The Board of Directors has appointed Jean-François Hénin to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Michel Hochard, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

These appointments take effect today.
