Marriott Vacations Posts Profit In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp.(VAC), a general entertainment company, Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $6 million or $0.15 per share, compared to a net loss of $11 million in the same quarter last year.

Adjusted earnings per share for the recent quarter were $0.32.

Total company contract sales were $213 million, an $18 million increase from last year. Total revenues from sale of vacation ownership products were $200 million, a decrease of $2 million from the prior year period.

Reported development margin increased to 23.3 percent from 19.8 percent in the prior year.

For full-year 2014, the company expects earnings per share to be in the range of $2.33 to $2.58 per share. Adjusted earnings are expected to be in the range of $2.41 to $2.67 per share.
