Mapi Recognizes World Cancer Day

BOSTON, Feb. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mapi is a proud supporter of World Cancer Day 2017. Observed annually on February 4th, it is an initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), focused on uniting the world's population in the fight against cancer.  Per WHO's CANCER Today 2012 research, there were 14.1 million new cancer cases, 8.2 million cancer deaths and 32.6 million people living with cancer (within 5 years of diagnosis) in 2012 worldwide.
