Lummus Novolen Technology Expands Research Operations

Lummus Novolen Technology, a CB&I company (NYSE:CBI), is launching research and development activities at a new facility at the BASF SE site in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Working in close proximity will provide both BASF and Novolen strategic and synergistic business opportunities.

"The timing is optimal as BASF is expanding its relationships in the catalyst production business, an area in which Novolen has extensive experience,” said Dr. Michael Christill, Director Corporate Real Estate Management and Site Marketing for BASF SE in Ludwigshafen. "Having Novolen at this location also strengthens the local Verbund and competitiveness of the location.”
