If the cost of nuclear power can be lowered enough, economic self-interest will lead nations to stop burning coal. The innovative technology of liquid fuel reactors may provide the disruptive cost innovation that can address both coal CO2 emissions and energy poverty.

Lowering the costs of energy can also spur industrial growth, increasing GDP, with productivity providing a path out of the debt crisis now affecting all economies.
