LGS Innovations Named One Of Winners Of $4.1 Bln U.S. Army CTS Contract

(RTTNews) - LGS Innovations, an independent subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent (ALU), announced it has been named one of the winners of the $4.1 billion Communications and Transmission Systems or CTS contract.

The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity or IDIQ) award has a five-year period of performance and will connect various communications systems seamlessly across integrated domains, providing the warfighter with reliable, instant access to communications worldwide.

As per the terms of the agreement, LGS Innovations will be competing to provide an extensive range of integrated solutions in support of the Army's communications systems. LGS will be offering systems integration, systems engineering and analysis, operations, maintenance, equipment and system installation.

In addition, LGS Innovations will provide material procurement, facility and site preparation, outside plant trenching, software support, program management, logistics, technical field assistance, test and evaluation, modeling and simulation, information operations and assurance support, training, and depot support at a local and regional level.
