Las Vegas Sands Results Miss Estimate - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Casino operator Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $671.7 million or $0.83 per share compared with $626.7 million or $0.76 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $675.7 million or $0.84 per share, compared with $681.3 million or $0.82 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $3.53 billion compared with $3.57 billion in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.85 per share on revenues of $3.68 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
