Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Q4 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (KKD) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $14.8 million or $0.21 per share, up from $4.0 million or $0.06 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $8.3 million or $0.12 per share. On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.13 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 3.3 percent to $112.7 million from $109.1 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $119.59 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal 2015, the company currently projects adjusted earnings in a range of $0.73 to $0.79 per share, up from its previous guidance range of $0.71 to $0.76 per share. Analysts currently expect earnings of $0.75 per share for 2015.
