Kindred Healthcare Prices $1.35 Bln Of Senior Unsecured Notes - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Kindred Healthcare Inc. (KND) said it has priced its previously announced offering of $1.35 billion of senior unsecured notes.

The notes will be issued in two tranches of $750 million of 8.00 percent senior notes due 2020 at an issue price of 100 percent and $600 million of 8.75 percent senior notes due 2023 at an issue price of 100 percent. The sale of the notes is expected to be completed on December 18, 2014.

Kindred Healthcare intends to use the net proceeds from the notes to fund the acquisition of Gentiva Health Services, Inc. (GTIV) and for general corporate purposes.
