Kalfus & Nachman Offers Free Rides Home for Hampton Roads Residents on Game Day

NORFOLK, Va., Jan. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tom Brady and the defending champion New England Patriots are heading back to the championship game in search of a sixth title, where they will face the Philadelphia Eagles, who are looking to win their first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.

As last year's game demonstrated, nothing is set in stone, but one thing is definitely clear—it will be a night of celebration. Unfortunately, that can lead to drunken fans getting behind the wheel. According to state police, forty-seven people were arrested for driving under the influence in Virginia on Sunday last year, with more than 2,500 traffic stops. Thankfully, no one was killed, but that doesn't mean anyone should risk drinking and driving.

In an effort to reduce fatalities and the number of drunk driving accidents in the Hampton Roads area of Virgina, Kalfus & Nachman announced that they will reimburse passengers up to $30 in Uber, Lyft or cab fare if they decide to catch a ride home on Sunday, Feb. 4.

Available within the 757 area code, the Kalfus & Nachman #HurtlineSafeRide program is up for grabs to those who are at least 21 years old and are traveling from a bar or restaurant to a local residence. They have also partnered with the Norfolk Black & White Cab Company to provide taxi services for all those interested.
