Juniper Networks Reports 34% Advance In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Juniper Networks (JNPR) reported earnings for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $221.7 million, or $0.57 per share. This was higher than $165.4 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.53 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 10.6% to $1.25 billion. This was up from $1.13 billion last year.
