Juniper Networks Names Thomas Kreidler Vice President of Juniper Federal Systems; Federal Market Veteran Joins Networking and Security Leader

    SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 2005--Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) today named Thomas Kreidler as vice president of Juniper Federal Systems. As the lead federal executive, Kreidler will oversee Juniper Networks' efforts to provide secure and assured networking solutions to the United States federal government.
    Kreidler brings over 20 years of experience providing the government with information technology solutions. Prior to joining Juniper Networks, Kreidler served simultaneous roles as the Vice President of Public Sector and President of Sun Federal for Sun Microsystems. In both roles, Kreidler assumed business responsibility for federal, state, and local governments and government contractors, while also leading the company's international strategic sales and major government programs.
