JGWPT Holdings Swings To Profit

(RTTNews) - JGWPT Holdings Inc. (JGW) Friday reported third-quarter net income of $21 million, compared with net loss of $1 million last year.

Excluding items, adjusted income was $20 million, compared with $1.4 million a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter rose to $108 million from $103 million last year. Interest income was $43 million, compared with $45.7 million a year ago.

Expenses were lower at $87 million, compared with $104 million in the prior year.

JGW is a purchaser of structured settlement payments, annuity payments, lottery payments and other receivables.
