JAKKS Pacific Reports 36% Retreat In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - JAKKS Pacific (JAKK) reported earnings for third quarter that declined compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings came in at $19.65 million, or $0.53 per share. This was lower than $30.61 million, or $0.82 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.84 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 13.3% to $262.41 million. This was down from $302.79 million last year.
