Jacobs Engineering Awarded Contract To Support Marine Corps Logistics Command

(RTTNews) - Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (JEC) announced it has been awarded a contract to support worldwide, integrated logistics operations for Marine Corps Logistics Command and the Marine Corps operating forces. The multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a maximum order limit of $855 million over a period of five years.

The scope of work of the Marine Corps Logistics Support Services contract includes comprehensive support services in the areas of logistics, supply chain, and distribution management; maintenance management; and strategic prepositioning capability.

The company also announced it was awarded a contract from Tronox Limited (TROX) to perform early stage engineering for an aluminum chloride generator at its pigment plant in Kwinana, Western Australia. The contract value was not disclosed.
