It's a Bird ... It's a Plane ... It's Snapple White Teas, the Lightest Teas on Earth!

NEW YORK, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- You'll believe a man and a woman can fly after seeing Snapple take "High Tea" to new heights with the launch of the National Snapple White Tea High Tea Tour today. The celebration of the lightest teas on Earth kicked off at Bryant Park from noon - 2:00 p.m. For an added boost, white-tea loving fans had the chance to experience ultimate lightness as they were harnessed to oversized personal helium balloons and soared 100 feet into the air. Fliers and land-lovers alike were able to taste all three flavors of the new premium Snapple White Teas: Green Apple, Nectarine and Raspberry.

Snapple's new White Teas are the first in a line of new products that will support a "good for you" platform from which the brand will educate and inspire consumers about the health benefits of tea. The White Teas are naturally light because they are made from baby white tea leaves that are plucked from the first buds and leaves of the plant when they are at their purest and most delicate state.

"We're excited to give consumers across the country the opportunity to 'experience' the lightest teas on Earth," said Holly Mensch, Vice President of Marketing for Snapple. "This National Snapple White Tea High Tea Tour gives consumers a chance to fly high with Snapple-literally."

In true Snapple fashion, "TeaMeisters" are a part of the white tea educational campaign. James Labe, who became the nation's first tea sommelier in 1998 at the W Hotel's trendy Heartbeat restaurant in New York City, was the kick-off TeaMeister in Bryant Park. Labe was on-site, in the Snapple tea garden, to share his expert opinion about the health benefits of tea.
