Ira Wolfson Joins Evercore as Senior Managing Director in the Global Industrials Corporate Advisory Practice in New York
NEW YORK, Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Evercore (NYSE: EVR) announced today that Ira Wolfson has joined the Firm's Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director. He will be based in New York and will focus on advising clients in the industrial sector.
Mr. Wolfson was most recently an Executive Vice Chairman with Rothschild & Co in New York, where he was Co-Head of Global Industrials and Co-Head of Global Aerospace & Defense. With 22 years of investment banking experience focused in the industrial sector, he has advised on a number of notable transactions and advisory assignments for a range of clients, including BAE Systems, The Carlyle Group, Cerberus, Esterline, The Jordan Company, KKR, Landmark Aviation, Lear, Meggitt, Melrose, Mercury Systems, Textron, Tower International, U.S. Government (GM and Chrysler reorganizations), United Airlines and Visteon.
