Internet Initiative Japan Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Internet Initiative Japan Inc (IIJI) reported that its first quarter net Income attributable to IIJ rose 6.4% to JPY954 million or $9.6 million from JPY 897 million in the prior year.
However, operating Income down 5.0% to JPY1.305 billion or $13.2 million, from JPY 1.374 billion a year earlier.
Revenues climbed 6.4% to JPY26.441 billion or $266.5 million from JPY 24.841 billion in the previous year. Network Services revenue was JPY16.785 billion, up 4.3% from previous year.
Revenues for Internet connectivity services for corporate use were JPY4.191 billion, up 8.4% year over year The increase was mainly due to the increasing demands for broader bandwidth. Outsourcing services revenues were JPY4.887 billion, up 9.0% from the prior year.
Besides, revenues for Internet connectivity services for home use were JPY1.397 billion, down 2.2% from a year earlier. WAN services revenues were JPY6.310 billion, stayed almost flat compared to last year.
