Internet Initiative Japan H1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJI) reported that its first-half net income attributable to the company increased 14.4 percent to 1.652 billion yen from 1.444 billion yen in the previous year. Net income per share grew to 35.90 yen from 31.39 yen in the prior year.

Operating Income was 2.563 billion yen, up 6.1% from prior year's 2.416 billion yen.

Total revenues rose 14.3 percent to 65.334 billion yen from 57.172 billion yen in the prior year.

Looking ahead, the company maintains its view that the large shift from traditional mobile carriers to inexpensive MVNOs5 to continue over the next few years.
