International Game Technology Announces a 67% Dividend Increase

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.10 per share on its common stock, a 67% increase compared to the dividend paid in the same quarter last year.  This marks the 42nd consecutive quarter that the Company has paid a dividend, which is currently the longest streak in the gaming industry.

"As a reflection of our continued commitment to a balanced and measured approach to returning capital to shareholders, I am delighted to announce a 67% increase in our quarterly cash dividend," said Patti Hart, CEO of IGT.

The dividend is payable on October 4, 2013 to shareholders of record on September 19, 2013.
