IntercontinentalExchange Group Inc. Profit Rises 19% In Q3

(RTTNews) - IntercontinentalExchange Group Inc. (ICE) announced earnings for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $385 million, or $3.21 per share. This was up from $323 million, or $2.91 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $3.22 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 19.3% to $1.42 billion. This was up from $1.19 billion last year.
