Inter Parfums Q3 Recurring Sales Rises

(RTTNews) - Inter Parfums Inc. (IPAR) reported that its third-quarter recurring sales, excluding Burberry brand sales, increased about 33% to 74.2 million euros from the previous year's 55.6 million euros.

Total sales for the quarter declined to 74.2 million euros from last year's 118.9 million euros. The total sales for the prior year quarter included Burberry brand sales of 63.3 million euros.

For the first nine months, like-for-like sales rose in consequence 20% to 194 million euros. Total sales for the first nine months came to 292.7 million euros, down from 327.8 million euros. The total sales for the prior year period included Burberry brand sales of 166.6 million euros.

Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO said, "The change in the Group's organization has balanced our brand portfolio and created a new spirit of team competition. The launches of the Repetto and Boucheron Place Vendôme lines clearly benefited from this strong momentum that has thus positively contributed to our accelerating growth over the last several months. On that basis, full-year sales may exceed EUR335 million for 2013."
