Insight Public Sector Joins U.S. Communities Contract

Insight Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSIT) ("Insight”), a leading, global provider of technology solutions, announced today that its U.S. public sector division, Insight Public Sector, Inc. (IPS), has been awarded a U.S. Communities Technology Contract for technology products/equipment and solutions/services. Insight is the only technology provider awarded in both the technology products/equipment and services/solutions sections of this contract. The contract runs from May 1, 2009 to April 30, 2013 with three additional 1-year extensions available.

U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance™ ("U.S. Communities™”) is a nationwide purchasing cooperative for local and state government agencies, school districts (K-12), higher education and nonprofits. Today more than 36,000 public agencies utilize U.S. Communities contracts and suppliers to procure products and services annually.

The new agreement makes Insight’s complete selection—250,000 hardware products and 18,000 software titles—available on a single contract at the best available prices along with Insight’s complete portfolio of technology services and solution capabilities. The comprehensive IPS offering includes a portfolio of technology services such as integration, onsite implementation and IDC-G.R.A.D.E.-certified asset disposal support as well as deep technical capabilities in networking, server/storage consolidation, mobility, lifecycle management and more.
