Infocast & POET are Pleased to Host the Pacific Rim Offshore Wind Summit
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Summit, which will feature more than 200 participants, is the first event of its kind to focus on Pacific Rim offshore wind opportunities. With an emphasis on the areas off the coast of California as well as Japan, South Korea, and China, the conference aims to facilitate unlocking the immense potential of offshore wind throughout the Pacific Rim.

One of the Summit's Keynote speakers, Commissioner of the California Energy Commission, David Hochschild, will deliver an address titled California Renewable Energy and OSW Perspective and Partnering with Pac Rim. "As California moves to 100% clean energy by 2045, offshore wind is poised to play a major role," said Hochschild. "This convening is another important opportunity for policymakers and investors to continue the dialogue about how we can work together to overcome technological and bureaucratic hurdles necessary to bring this important source of clean, domestic energy into the mainstream."
