ID Logistics: purchase of France Paquets

ID Logistics (Paris:IDL) announces the purchase of the entire share capital of France Paquets, a parcel delivery company, from its management.

A REPUTED PARCEL SERVICE PROVIDER

Backed by some sixty staff in France and with revenues of around €10 million, France Paquets is a leading parcel service provider in France.

In Aulnay-sous-Bois, France Paquets has a mechanised system that processes up to 300,000 parcels a day under services agreements with various partners, notably ColiPoste, as well as companies such as Arvato, STPP (Lagardère group) and Tessi.

For all market categories (i.e. both B2C and B2B) and delivery methods (i.e. home delivery and warehouse delivery), France Paquets facilitates the delivery of parcels to the end customer:

• in terms of logistics, by establishing standard batches of parcels "ready for distribution”,
• in terms of finance, by reducing the costs of preparing delivery routes in advance.

AN ACQUISITION THAT BOLSTERS ID LOGISTICS' E-COMMERCE OFFERING

Alongside a multi-channel e-commerce business with customers such as Alinea.fr, Auchan.fr and GrosBill, the Group has acquired an attractive logistics system for pure player internet operators and advertising specialists.
