IAC/InterActiveCorp. Profit Advances 10% In Q3

(RTTNews) - IAC/InterActiveCorp. (IACI) announced earnings for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $90.3 million, or $1.01 per share. This was up from $82.0 million, or $0.92 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.78 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.2% to $838.6 million. This was up from $782.2 million last year.
