Huntsman Corp. Reveals 10% Decline In Q1 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Huntsman Corp. (HUN) reported earnings for first quarter that declined from last year.

The company said its earnings fell to $88 million, or $0.37 per share. This was lower than $98 million, or $0.40 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.27 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.9% to $2.36 billion. This was down from $2.59 billion last year.
