Huaneng Power Profit Rises In H1

(RTTNews) - Chinese power producer Huaneng Power International Inc (HNP) on Tuesday reported net income to equity holders of RMB 8.95 billion, or $1.46 billion for the first half of 2015; compared with RMB 6.81 billion last year.

On a per share basis, first-half earnings were RMB 0.62, or $0.10; compared with RMB 0.48 in the prior year.

Revenues for the first half totaled RMB 65.3 billion, or $10.68 billion; compared with RMB 64.6 billion a year ago.

The company said that during the second half of the year, it will continue to focus on safety production, strive to improve operational efficiency, reinforce the adjustment in structure and industry synergy.
