Hospitality Properties Trust Q4 Normalized FFO Meets View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Hospitality Properties Trust (HPT) Tueday said fourth-quarter net income available for common shareholders advanced to $27.6 million or $0.19 per share from $18.5 million or $0.15 per share in the previous year that included a $7.7 million or $0.06 per share loss on asset impairment.

Funds from operations rose to $0.72 from $0.70. Normalized funds from operations, or Normalized FFO, were $103.3 million or $0.71 per share, compared to $93.9 million or $0.76 per share last year.

On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.71 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenues increased to $384.79 million from $322.31 million. Wall Street expected revenues of $380.93 million.
