Hitachi Data Systems Showcases the Role of Storage in Virtualized Environments at VMworld 2010
Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT), will be presenting and exhibiting its integrated solutions for virtualized environments during VMworld 2010 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, August 30 to September 2, 2010. Hitachi storage solutions are offered on a single platform for VMware environments and stand out against competitive offerings because of the performance, protection and efficiency they offer in a small footprint, reducing costs and business risks.
Attendees will learn how the Hitachi Adaptable Modular Series (AMS) 2000 family, a scalable storage system for medium, large, and enterprise organizations, supports VMware vSphere™ 4.1, specifically VMware vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) by leveraging storage array technology for greater virtual machine (VM) density, increased scalability, higher ROI and better virtualized application performance in VMware vSphere environments. HDS will also present in multiple sessions and provide ongoing booth demonstrations to share its vision of how users can fully optimize their data center transformation initiatives within their existing VMware environments to achieve increased efficiency, ease-of-use and cost savings.
