General Cable Names Chris Kreidler Interim CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - General Cable Corp. (BGC) announced its Board named Chris Kreidler to serve as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective August 12, 2016. Kreidler will replace Brian Robinson, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. The company's search, with the assistance of Heidrick & Struggles, for a permanent replacement CFO is advancing.

Kreidler most recently served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Sysco Corporation and during his 28-year career, he also held numerous leadership roles across Yum! Brands and C&S Wholesale Grocers.

Separately, the company said it expects third-quarter revenues to be in the range of $900 to $950 million. Adjusted earnings per share are expected to be in the range of $0.10 to $0.30 for the third quarter.
