Fulton Financial Announces 4 Mln Share Repurchase Program

(RTTNews) - Fulton Financial Corp. (FULT) said Wednesday that its board of directors has approved the repurchase of up to four million shares of the company's common stock, or about 2.1% of the its outstanding shares, through December 31.

As of April 30, the company had about 189 million shares of common stock outstanding.

As permitted by securities laws and other legal requirements and subject to market conditions and other factors, purchases may be made from time to time in the open market at prevailing prices, or through privately negotiated transactions. The repurchase program may be discontinued at any time.
