    BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2005--Red Hat (NASDAQ:RHAT), the leading provider of open source solutions to the enterprise, today announced the availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. Red Hat worked closely with Fujitsu, a global partner and a leading provider of mainframe and open servers, on this the latest release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
    Since the start of their global alliance in May 2003 Red Hat and Fujitsu have joined forces on all aspects of mission-critical Linux solutions, including software development, marketing, sales, system configuration, and support. In addition to offering Red Hat Enterprise Linux solutions for the Fujitsu PRIMERGY and its next-generation mission-critical Intel Architecture servers, both companies have actively partnered in the development and promotion of Linux solutions. The formation of the Joint Development Organization has demonstrated both company's commitment to work together to further expand their Linux offerings. These joint Red Hat and Fujitsu efforts have already achieved positive results including diskdump, IPv6 network, and threadsafe libraries.
