Frontier Airlines Launches Santa Barbara Service

Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today launched new nonstop service between Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) and Denver International Airport (DEN) with two daily roundtrip flights. This new service is part of a significant growth period for the Denver-based carrier, which is growing by 7 percent in seat miles this year, making it the fastest-growing major carrier in the United States.

"Customers will enjoy comfortable travel between Santa Barbara and Denver on board our 99-seat Embraer aircraft. In addition to the nonstop service to Denver, the Santa Barbara community can now connect to our more than 70 destinations across the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica.”

Frontier’s Santa Barbara service is flown by the 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft, which will be the largest and most comfortable aircraft of any airline serving Santa Barbara. Customers on board these aircraft enjoy comfortable leather seating in a two-by-two configuration with four rows of STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of comfortable legroom. The Company’s Embraer fleet will also be outfitted with in-flight internet service by the end of 2010.
