Fresenius Medical Care To Buy 85% Stake In India's Sandor Nephro Services

(RTTNews) - Healthcare company Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA (FMS) said Friday that it would acquire 85 percent equity stake in the Indian dialysis group, Sandor Nephro Services, from a group of investors. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fresenius expects the deal to be accretive in 2017 on earnings after tax, and the acquired business to generate revenues of about $3 million in full year 2016.

Sandor Nephro Services, which was founded in 2011, is India's second largest dialysis care provider, and operates a network of more than 50 dialysis centers across the country.
