Food, Decor and Lifestyle with a Latin Vibe on the Menu for New Show Featuring Spanish TV Personality Ingrid Hoffmann on DIRECTV PARA TODOS(R)
Creating one of the first-ever food, decor and lifestyletelevision shows for Hispanics in the United States, Latin TVpersonality Ingrid Hoffmann is bringing her signature Hispanic flairand cuisine to DIRECTV PARA TODOS(R) programming customers with thelaunch of "Delicioso with Ingrid Hoffmann." The new half-hour showwill be air beginning today, Wednesday, September 14, on AccessoVIP(TM) channel 400 as an exclusive for DIRECTV PARA TODOS customers.
A popular Hispanic celebrity both in the United States and LatinAmerica, Hoffmann is best known here for her innovative and fun foodand decor ideas and creations that she offers in an eight-page monthlyfeature in Buenhogar (the Spanish version of Good Housekeeping) andbi-weekly segments on Univision's Despierta America, the highest-ratedSpanish morning TV show in the country. Her cooking, decor and fashionsavvy draws comparisons to Martha Stewart, but with an unmistakableHispanic vibe.
Hoffmann's new "Delicioso" (Spanish for delicious) premieres onDIRECTV PARA TODOS in the United States following a successful run onHearst Entertainment's Cosmopolitan Network throughout Latin Americaand the Caribbean. Now in production for its second season, the showwill regularly air during daytime and primetime hours every Wednesdaysix times throughout the course of the day. Complementing the launchof the Spanish-language show, which will be a one-of-a-kind showcaseof Hoffmann's trademark tips and ideas, is the launch of thehttp://www.deliciosotv.com website featuring an archive of many of hermost loved recipes and suggestions.

The show is filmed in Miami, the undisputed capital of Latino coolwhich Hoffmann has called home for the last 20 years. In the premiereepisode, entitled "Coco Loco," she focuses on a tropical theme for anoutdoor party with minimal fuss and maximum fun. Every episodeillustrates tips and ideas for a specific occasion, includingbreakfast in bed, Sunday brunch, afternoon barbeque, girls-onlyget-together, and other special gatherings with friends and family.Hoffmann also welcomes celebrity guests, including distinguished chefsand TV/film stars, to share their own personal tips and ideas forliving life to the fullest with a Hispanic spirit.
About Ingrid Hoffmann
While Ingrid Hoffmann is best known in the United States for herfood and decor contributions to the leading national Spanish-languageTV morning show and a monthly magazine, she is known in Colombia andthroughout Latin America as a beautiful and talented star of manypopular TV soap operas and shows. In fact, by the age of 20 she hadalready appeared in Colombia in 16 soap operas, four theaterproductions and several TV commercials for Coca Cola, the nationallottery and various home products.

By combining her acting and broadcast talents with her passion forLatin-inspired cuisine, Hoffmann began hosting a cooking segment on alocal Miami-area TV show in 2002. She quickly caught the attention ofexecutives at Spanish-language TV network Univision, which soonthereafter gave her a bi-weekly cooking and style segment on DespiertaAmerica, one of the network's most popular daily shows and the leadingSpanish morning show in the country.
