Fidelity National Financial Inc Reports 19% Gain In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Fidelity National Financial Inc (FNF) revealed earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $171 million, or $0.60 per share. This was higher than $144 million, or $0.51 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.62 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 16.8% to $2.02 billion. This was up from $1.73 billion last year.
