    WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 2005--National mortgage lender Fidelity Mortgage Inc. has announced the winners of its first annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Competition How I can contribute to my community and improve the City of Cincinnati.
    Two hundred entrants from Cincinnati, Ohio elementary, middle and high schools entered the contest and winners were announced on April 15th on WDBZ 1230AM on the Jerri Tolliver Show with special words of encouragement from the new Cincinnati schools Superintendent Rosa Blackwell.

    Winners were awarded:

    1st place - new computer

    2nd place - $1000 savings bond

    3rd place - $250 gift certificate

    The contest winners were:

    Elementary School

    1st Place- Ethan Hurston of Midway Elementary- 5th grade

    2nd Place- Joshua Williams of Rockdale Elementary- 5th grade

    3rd Place- Tyashia Fields of Rockdale Elementary- 4th grade

    Middle School

    1st place- Tatiana Mance of Shroder Paideia- 7th grade

    2nd place- Chloe Amitin of Roselawn Condon- 8th grade

    3rd place- Yacobayah Cooper of Pleasant Hill School- 7th grade

    High School

    1st place- Amber Williams of Dater High School- 11th grade

    2nd place- Markita Robinson of Taft High School- 11th grade

    3rd place- Jessica Hoffman of Withrow High School- 12th grade

    The contestants were given their prizes at an awards ceremony at Fidelity Mortgage's Cincinnati office by CEO and President Hugh Miller and Fidelity's Regional Project Coordinator Tonya Williams.
    "Fidelity's community based programs are designed to educate and help consumers acquire a mortgage and realize the American Dream of home ownership and financial independence. The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. essay encouraged young people to live the dream by providing a channel to express their ideas," said Tonya Williams.
