Fannie Mae Publishes Final Duty to Serve Underserved Markets Plan

WASHINGTON, Dec. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fannie Mae (OTC Bulletin Board: FNMA) today published its final Duty to Serve Underserved Markets Plan to address the needs of America's most challenging housing markets. The Plan is informed by public input and feedback from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), and complements Fannie Mae's ongoing efforts to bring innovative affordable housing solutions to market in a safe and sound manner. • Affordable Housing Preservation – Helping keep established affordable properties available as low-cost housing alternatives
• Rural Housing – Supporting the financing of housing for targeted high-needs rural regions and populations
